A new tiny home community will open soon at Lake Martin.
Eagles Landing is a the first official tiny home vacation rental development at Lake Martin. Developers will hold a ribbon cutting for the official opening on May 19.
“Tiny homes are an up-and-coming trend in real estate and design, and these cabin-style tiny homes are unlike anything you’ve ever seen,” said Herb Winches, founder and developer of Eagles Landing. “They provide the opportunity to experience lakefront living without the maintenance or cost of owning a home on the lake. The accessibility from Birmingham, Montgomery and Auburn makes it ideal for those looking for a convenient, close-to-home getaway.”
According to a press release, Eagles Landing at Lake Martin will be located near Parker Creek and will feature custom-designed floor plans by interior designer Morgan Holiday. Each home sleeps four adults, comes fully furnished, and a fully equipped kitchen. Other features include 13-foot vaulted ceilings, screened-in porch facing the lake, brushed nickel and stainless steel appliances, marble and granite countertops, a flat screen TV, cable, double French door-entry from the porch, individual HVAC units and a stacked washer and dryer.
